Now that the reveal is complete, we’re thrilled to share what this next chapter has brought to your favourite shopping destination.

The New Era Begins November 2025
November 2025 marked the launch of phase one of our expansion, a major milestone for Somerset Mall. We added over 5 000m² of brand-new retail space and welcomed 26 incredible stores into the family
This expansion was designed to introduce a more diverse, exciting mix of brands that truly reflects the dynamic shoppers who make up our community. We listened closely to what you wanted and carefully curated a lineup that matches Somerset West’s energy, style, and spirit.
What’s in Store for You?
Our new lineup was crafted to cater to every taste and lifestyle, and it shows. International favourites have officially landed at Somerset Mall, including JD Sports, Adidas, Levi’s, and New Balance. For trendsetters and those who love discovering unique finds, brands like Colourbox, Napapijri, and Burnt have added something fresh to the mix.
And because luxury has its place here too, we proudly welcomed Safari Collection, Africa’s own high-end fashion brand, bringing a touch of local prestige to our racks. The expansion was designed with families in mind as well. Lego introduced a vibrant world of creativity and colour, offering fun for visitors of all ages.
Shoppers also celebrated the return of Game and Edgars, both launching with refreshed designs. And for coffee lovers, Bootlegger Coffee Company became the go-to spot for a perfect brew or a tasty bite. But we didn’t stop there. As promised, Freedom Interactive Park is set to open in 2026, an immersive experience you won’t want to miss. It’s shaping up to be the perfect destination for families and friends to spend quality time together.
Throughout this transition, some familiar favourites found new homes inside the mall. Computer Mania and Old Khaki have relocated to even better positions, offering the same great stores in improved locations.

We’ve also been working behind the scenes to enhance the existing space. Visitors may have already noticed new floor tiling, refreshed visuals, and upgraded bathrooms that are not only more beautiful but also more eco-friendly.
And with new amenities, including a car wash and electric vehicle charging stations, we’re making your life just a bit easier every time you visit.
